Painting Equipment - Airless and Air Assist

Why use airless paint spraying ?

Graco Logo

The name “airless” derives from the fact that the material being sprayed is atomised by hydraulic pressure only at the spray tip. Airless paint sprayers can be powered by either air, electricity or diesel.

Airless spray units are designed to cover large surfaces quickly. By varying the tip size a large variety of coatings can be applied. Typical applications are the applying of protective coatings on ships, bridges, construction vehicles, railcars, or containers, as well as interior and exterior painting and decorating, and the application of fire protective coatings.

Graco Electric and Gas Airless Paint Spray Units

Graco Electric Spray Unit

We offer a complete range of cart mounted and portable, electric and gas powered spray units. These units do not require the addition of an air compressor, making them ideal for the painting contractor or decorator. The gas powered models are completely self contained and are ideal for site work.

A variety of model sizes are available to spray residential to industrial coatings.

Spray packages includes :

Electric Sprayer

Spray Gun and Reversible Spray tip

15 metres hose

Graco Petrol Sprayer

Graco Petrol powered sprayers have all the same advanced features as the Electric range but free you from electric power concerns on new construction sites.

The smaller models are perfect for the entry-level contractor who is looking for maximum power in a light-weight portable package. Whilst the large models offer the most powerful performance for high production paint contractors doing commercial and new residential construction jobs – where uninterrupted spraying is required of a large range of materials.

As above packages includes Sprayer, Gun, Tip and Hose.

The larger pumps have design features such as autoclean timers, paint litre counter, and digit pressure gauge.

Extension Pole Guns or Pressure Fed Rollers can optionally be used (instead of the standard spray gun) for easy coating of ceilings, walls, or inside pipes.

Graco Pneumatic Airless

Featuring all the advantages of the electric and gas powered sprayers but with the simplicity of being pneumatically powered.

Available in a range of pressure ratios, and flow outputs to suit your application.

The air powered range includes the Graco “NXT” dependable, high-performance packages for the toughest protective coatings applications.

These pumps effectively handle a wide variety of materials such as anti-corrosion and architectural coatings, coal tar epoxies, waterborne and fire retardant coatings, urethanes and zinc-rich primers.

Graco Xtreme NXT

  • Low maintenance - Long life packings and rods reduce pump downtime and lower maintenance costs. Easy to service lower cuts labour time in half.

  • Superior performance with the highest viscosity coatings

  • Perfect for applications where high pressure, long hoses or multiple spray guns are necessary

Air Assisted Airless Sprayers

Graco G40 Air-Assisted Spray Gun The air-assisted or “air-mix” system combines the hydraulic atomisation method of airless, with the air-atomisation of air spray, to allow a softer coating pattern at lower pressures than airless.

Typical applications would be the coating of furniture or joineries.

The spray tip can be changed to handle a range of materials including stains, lacquers, paints, primers and lubricants.

In conjunction with a medium pressure pump the system provides fine, uniform atomisation and good application rates, while the light spring loaded trigger reduces operator fatigue.

Plural Component Mixing Systems

Graco Xtreme Mix

Modern trends for 2k paint materials are general towards shorter pot life and lower tolerance for error in the mixing ratio. We offer several models of Plural Component mixing systems. The precise mixing of only the amount of material required, and in the correct ratio, reduces wasted material, improves manufacturing processes, shortens drying times, improves adhesion and durability, and reduces VOC’s

• Xtreme Mix –
A portable, reliable, high pressure, 2K sprayer, with features such as alarm if the mix ratio alters. The unit is ideal for ultra high viscosity, 2K protective coating materials which are often used to give a very durable, protective finish.

• ProMix Easy –
An entry-level unit for single-colour electronic proportioning. Ideal for ratio assurance with air spray and air-assisted units.

• ProMix II -
An intrinsically-safe fluid panel and operator station for precise, reliable electronic proportioning in multi-colour applications. Features an advanced pot life monitor, and suitable for metering up to 6 colours, with 1 catalyst.
